Are your candles made using essential oils?
Our candles are made using high-quality fragrance oils, many of them which are infused with essential oils. Essential oils are distillations of a flower, root, herb, or resin and as such, certain candle scents would be impossible to create. Therefore, as an alternative, we use high-quality fragrance oils that are phthalate-free to ensure that we are able to create amazing-smelling candles while still ensuring that the oils we use are safe for you.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, however, for shipping outside of the U.S., please e-mail us with your order and shipping address. We will then send you a Paypal invoice with shipping costs included. This is due to international shipping costs varying greatly and we want to be sure we don't ever overcharge you.
When should I expect my order to ship?
Please note that each candle is hand-poured and made to order. Please allow 3-5 business days to make your candle before it is shipped.
What comes in my order?
We want your Wax by Lax purchase to feel like an amazing gift to yourself because well, it really is! We have worked to ensure that we provide a beautiful package for you, filled with beautiful white crinkle paper, carefully bubblewrapped candles which are then nicely wrapped in black tissue paper and sealed with our logo sticker, as well as a cute postcard with candle-care tips and a very special discount code for future purchases. Additionally, we also include a sample heart shaped wax melt in your order of a scent we think you will love!
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Due to the handmade nature of our candles, refunds and exchanges are handled on a case-by-case basis. If for any reason you are not happy with your candle(s), please do not hesitate to contact us right away. It is our number one priority to ensure that you love your candles and we will try every avenue possible to resolve any issues for you. Please be sure to read each candle description, which details the scent of each candle for you. Candles that have been lit cannot be returned. Customers are responsible for shipping costs.
